'Found' Fabric Friday

I found these vintage fabrics today stuffed over in a corner of my sewing closet today. This one is very 'MOD' looking to me. Can't you just see a short 'mini' dress made with this!
I know that this is from my 'Munners' stash. Now who wouldn't just love some roosters , clocks and keys for their kitchen curtains. I think I remember this fabric actually being in her kitchen when I was little.

This one reminds me of old feed/flour sacks.

Ooooouuuu...look at this kitchen one!

Here is another 'modern' looking one. Looks like little fishes and court jesters to me!
And here is a sneak peak I'll leave you with to 'ponder' over the weekend.

  1. I like the kitchen one the best. And if this was all hiding in the corner of your closet, I'm thinking you might need to dig some more. No telling what you'll find! :)

As for the mystery....I'm so bad at guessing but I'll say pot holder. See? no imagination...oh, I'll laugh my head off if it did turn out to be a pot holder.

  17. Love the fabrics. I have some that a friend gave me from her mother's stash. I will have to show it on my blog, its just to funny. Some little boys skinny dipping and being caught by the farmer with a rifle! I just a some small pieces left from cutting out a shorts and top set for a child, which makes this even funnier.

  19. I have that feed/flour sack print in another colorway in my closet! Mine's red and blue where yours looks like it might be blue and blue or gray. I keep thinking one of these days I'm going to use it to back an old feedsack log cabin top I found at an antique shop up here a few years ago...

  22. So cute. I have a whole box of feedsacks I bought from Ebay years ago on a collecting spree. I used many of them to make my king sized grandmother's flower garden (on my blog) but the rest are just a sittin'!
