Something CUTE and SWEET

For seven years I've wanted to make this quilt!
(that's how long I've had the pattern)

And now I have a reason.

Her name is

NANCY

and

she will be here sometime Tuesday.

One of our employees is having a baby and I thought I had a little more time to do this, but isn't that
how it always goes?!

This is my first block and the others are all prepared and ready for the flowers to be sewn down.  It is
just so stinkin' cute in person!

More on this later!

  1. You have plenty of time! This will be so sweet. I don't think she'll mind if its a little late. Just so it doesn't end up being a graduation gift. HA!

  10. Made mine from the scraps for a bulls eye quilt. It was fun. I invite you to link this to Hexie Weekend (ends Monday, midnight) We love eye candy of any kind. That flower is so cute!

  12. Oh what a sweet baby quilt it will be. Seven years isn't a long time - it is just right for "aging" a pattern. :-)

I love the way the flower takes shape - can't wait to see it all. Lucky baby.
