SHE'S DONE IT AGAIN...

Remember last month when my friend Gail (no blog) sent me a goodie package? Go here to see. Well....she has done it again!

Inside was a fabulous old candy box filled with something better than chocolates......wonderful pink and red valentiney fabrics...isn't this great?
There was also a bundle of bright St. Patty's Day green fabric with more reds with tiny hearts rolled up inside. The black and white is some strips of a left over border she had cut off of a project.....I love this scrappy strip.

And WOW....I absolutely LOVE this book she included. I want to make every quilt in there!!! And thanks Gail for throwing in this great new issue of Quick Quilts, I didn't have this one. Thank you again Gail for thinking of me, and YES I will try and get busy sewing up some of these wonderful fabrics you have shared with me once again!!!

  7. How great is that?...It is a wonderful idea to send this particular bunch of fabric in that heart shape box. If she keeps this up you will be one busy lady, (as if you're not already.
It would be fun to make a small sampler using a wee bit of each fabric she sent you and call it Gail's Sampler. Maybe some of those cute little stars of yours. Gosh I can picture someting like that done with maybe nine-patches in the middle surrounded by a 1inch border and your mini stars. Well....what are you doing still sitting at this
computer? ....all that work ...get started girl....*LOL*
I think only a friend could say that and I consider you my friend, and am blessed to do so;)

  17. Ooooh you lucky thing!! I have that book - it was the first one I bought here in the States and I still have it - I have made a couple of projects from it - love it! It's timeless:)

I just read your no tagging/award thing - I think I need to do that too! I mean, it's nice to know you were thought of, but it gets overwhelming. Great idea:)

The timing is so perfect, we just moved and I have a ton of scraps I was going to throw out, do you want them? I'll mail them to you, of course free of charge. I hate throwing stuff away. LMK
