HURRY......YES HURRY!!

Yes......hurry.........Run quick........Do not pass Go....Do not collect 200 dollars......Get over to Fredas Hive and see what Nanette is up to.......OK...I'll just tell you! She's having her ONE YEAR Anniversary!! YIPEE...YIPEE!!! WOW, she has alot planned for this week (goody giveaways) so you need to get over there as soon as you can so you don't miss out on anything!!! Knowing Nanette and her girls it's going to be alot of fun!!!

A thought hit me this afternoon "isn't there a red and white quilt top I have somewhere"?? I went right then and found it down on the bottom of a pile. I think this quilt top was done by maybe my great aunt, I'm not real sure. I ended up with it through my grandmother who is deceased or I would ask her about it. I thought it was Christmasy and wanted to post it for inspiration.............................................MERRY MERRY YA'LL!

  2. What a lovely, fresh quilt. Are you going to finish it (one day?)

I have several old quilts that were passed on to me that I do not know the provenance of. Any other family members you can ask? What a treasure...
    Merry Christmas!

  3. What a great quilt to inherit! I've got a red and white quilt all picked out to do myself, hopefully in 2009.

  9. I really like the simplicity of a two color quilt and being red and white it has a lot of WOW power. It will look good draped over a couch or on a bed this holiday season, even if it does need some work to finish it..

You are very fortunate to have such hand me downs from your family. We were a BIG family and I was the youngest grandchild, I didn't get diddly. All the cousins and aunts got there first. BOO-HOO,,,sniff...
