These are SUNFLOWERS I have INSIDE......now let's go OUTSIDE and look at a few real ones....afterall.....it's HARVEST TIME!!
Looks more like Aliens rather than Sunflowers! I think I see different personalities too...don't you? HA!
SMILE Mr. Sunflower..................this is about the size of an EXTRA LARGE dinner plate.
Look at them bowing...looks like they are giving homage to the great GREEN gathering machine. toooooooo funny!
Hey Mr. Brown Dirt...REALLY!!! PLEASE let me go dig out that yellow can of spray paint!!!
WOW...WOW........LOOK VICTORIA......I have one too! GAIL also created this w-a-y too cute table topper for me. What can I say? I LOVE IT!!
Here is the flip side to the topper. Yeee-ow....this is where the work is! Just millions of fabulous fabrics. I especially like the little hot pinks and reds GAIL slipped in here and there. There are some sparkle-ee ones too.....And what about that JUMBO RIC RAC!!!!!! This circle measures about 40 inches. GAIL sent one to VICTORIA too and gave a 'HOW TO' on this topper over on VICTORIA'S blog HERE.
Sunflowers just make me smile!! and gail, that is one very kind friend!!!

ReplyDeleteGail did it again! She's like the Quilt fairy! GORGEOUS!!! ENJOY!!! hehe! what fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the sunflower harvest. One year we purchased a load of sunflower seeds to feed to the chickens; it was so fun watching them pick up a seed and hit it against the ground until the shell opened up.
ReplyDeleteThe Halloween panel is so amazing!
Wow...I'd love to see an entire field of sunflowers that big!!
ReplyDeleteWow! what wonderful goodies!
ReplyDeleteWow! Lucky you! That is quite a haul of fabulous fabrics and goodies. I love the table topper...it makes me dizzy just lloking at it and imagining it's construction. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of your actual sunflowers. I was imagining running through your field in the dark and seeing those "heads" - shiver! (seems like something for a Stephen King movie - or Stephen Hawkings!)
ReplyDeleteIn stitches,
Teresa :o)
Gosh, Gail is very generous and what a wonderful parcel she sent. I love the topper. I love sunflowers but the coakatoos would have a feast here if I grew some.
ReplyDeleteThose are some big mama sunflowers!
ReplyDeleteSunflowers are such happy looking plants and now you have so much fabric wow!
NO! spray paint on that machine...you could make such great rusted fabric with it!
Who needs to shop with friends like her. Love the circular table topper, it's fun. Plus the one block wonder book is fabulous, the sunflower print would be great for that!
ReplyDeleteLove those sunflower fabrics. Perfect combo with the sunflower harvest. Table topper... wonderful! And Goober's photo... what a ham. Our Cairn Terrier Jesse used to do that as a young man.. down in the front and up in the back meant playtime. He's slowing down though at age 12.
ReplyDeleteFabulous fabrics and friend. :) I've never seen so many sunflowers (outside) or such big ones. Really impressive.
ReplyDeleteI love sunflowers, and that panel you show has such realistic ones! I didn't know you were agrowin' sunflowers--I hope the harvest is grand--just like all that wonderful fabric and handmade gift you got!
