I also can'T believe that you are bored, cause noone who is bored arranges such nice pics ;) Enjoy your boredom! Nice greetings from Germany - I love those colours. Tine
Those are my least favorite parts too...but the candy corn is a favorite! In fact...I have to stop buying it...I've almost eaten a whole bag since Monday!
My least favorite part is the backing too...actually the pinning of the quilt sandwich. For years I sold quilt tops that I made on ebay. I was great. I was able to buy all my favorite fabrics and sew all the tops and not have to quilt them. I know there are so many who just like to quilt, so it was good for both of us. ~Karen~
I only saw the candy corn - was there a quilt there?
Closer and closer to a finish!!!
Yipee!
Sorry - too much computer and not enough chocolate - better go make tea (supper, dinner etc) for the DH. Probably need less sugar and caffeine... more something healthy
Hi Belinda, maybe you should look at it as the 3 F's. Fun, funner and funnest. I know what your talking about. I have projects that need to be finished. Keep Stitchen' Bonnie
I've been working on binding. Quilt #1 is 3/4 done, and quilt #2 should arrive from the long-armer this week. 3 weeks until the quilt show! I don't even have fabric for the binding for quilt #2. I feel your pain! Candy corn would help....must get some!
Hmmm, i doesn't *look* boring! Awaiting the reveal!
ReplyDeletethe candy corn must help :-)
ReplyDeleteThose parts are boring for me, too, but, like "Grendelskin", I can't wait to see!

ReplyDeleteI thought at least one of your Bs would buying or baking! Why do people had the binding. I love it, it means I am done!
ReplyDeleteGood things you have candy corn to get you through.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love binding. I guess because it's the end of a project and I can go on to something else.
ReplyDeleteLets see if you can add 2 more "B's". Maybe add batting!
ReplyDeleteI loooooove doing binding - it means the quilt is almost done - and what about those candies - those aren't so boring. LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't like those parts either...Well, you are almost done. Enjoy the candy!
ReplyDeleteMicki
I don't mind bindings but I sure don't like doing the backs and most borders either.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't candy corn make it all better? I bought several bags myself yesterday.
ReplyDeleteBUT..you are working with BERNIE!!! And you are eating most of our favorite vegetable......candy CORN!! What better thing to do?! Gail
ReplyDeleteYay, closer to the finish line. I'll look forward to some finishes.
ReplyDeleteI bet the candy corns help!

I like borders, am learning to like backs, but I oh so agree about binding.
ReplyDeleteOh I hear you!

PS Is Sew and Tell is tomorrow?
Not my favorites either, but just think, if you're at that stage that must mean a finish is near.
ReplyDeleteBUMMER...(B #5)

You and I are on the same page there! I really lose interest after the top is pieced. It is a struggle for me to finish!
ReplyDeleteThe green polka dot & that orange are anything but boring!
ReplyDelete(& I've only been looking at my binding project.)
The other super boring B is BASTING! It's the worst part to me.
ReplyDeleteHey Texas!
ReplyDeleteThat is some good looking binding! Looks like they will be done in no time.
XOXO!
I hate backs, hate borders but I don't mind binding. I'm binding my daughter's engagement quilt. Her shower is Sat. None too soon I'd say!
ReplyDeletelol...at least the candy corn looks fun!
ReplyDeleteTurn on a good audio book or movie - might help boredom?
ReplyDeleteOr head on over to Utah and hang out with me, we'll get those B's out of the way and have FUN!!
B #6 = basting. Yuk!
ReplyDeleteIt's been 4 days, are you still at it?
ReplyDeleteI've gone years before basting a quilt...but that just me.
I agree...those things never seem as fun as picking out fabrics and sewing!

Sympathies Belinda. But I bet the finishes will make it all worth while. :-)
