I've been VERY...VERY tempted to just stay up ALL night and sew these cute little maverick stars till I'm cross-eyed. I LOVE making these......one of my favorite things to play with........BUT....I guess it's late enough and I should call it quits for the day.....so...when most of you read this....it's early morning today.......but it's really late night yesterday........make any sense??
fun!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo she's hooked! Love the spotty one.
ReplyDeleteThose look like so much fun! I still need to try out a cottage or 2. Still I'm making progress on other stuff so it's not all bad.
ReplyDeleteI love your stars. I haven't made any yet, but seeing yours tempts me to add stars to the ABC sampler quilt I am working on.
ReplyDeleteThen again, I like your teacup too...
Great stars Belinda!!!
ReplyDeletethey're great.
ReplyDeleteThey look like such fun. There is not enough time in my lifetime to try all the things I want to in quilting, but these just may make it into my schedule. So cute.
ReplyDeletegreat job on those stars. wonky in any form gets fairly addictive I've found....
ReplyDeleteOh Wow Belinda! Those are so nice!!! Not just the fact that they're Maverick Stars and easy to make but your choice of fabric and colors just jump off the page. Love it, love it , love it..
ReplyDelete~~Fran...:c)
You are no different than me - burning the midnight oil. It is hard to stop sometimes.
ReplyDeleteCool, I love the two ones on the right side - green on cherries :) and teh swirly yellow-orange . They're great!
ReplyDeleteI'm able to understand why you don't want to leave your sewing maschine during the night!
definitely need to try these. love them!
ReplyDeleteYour stars are great. I love the bright fabric. They look like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteFun stars!
ReplyDeleteI love your stars! Your stars are all so slender and athletic looking. Mine turn out short and fat.....I wonder why that is? I really want some tall skinny ones in my Hero quilt before all is said and done.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Tia
What cute stars you've been making! Also, I love your Christmas Cottage block from the previous post...makes me wish I'd joined in on the swap. =)
ReplyDeleteLove your stars! Great fabric choices too.
ReplyDeleteAnd I too, stay up waaayyy too late many nights. But for stars like that, it's probably worth it. *grin* (I can't say that I have that much to show for it, unfortunately.)
I love those stars! I'm wanting to go make some now :)
ReplyDeleteYou sure have a fun collection of fabrics! I've made at least two quilts with that star pattern.
