SATURDAY TEAPOT
Thank you Pink Penguin for sharing your lovely teapot tutorial. I just love this design and had so much fun this Saturday playing around with this pattern. Since I have done numerous 'wonky' style projects ( go here to see my teacup and here for my wonky houses) I free handed this without using the freezer paper portion of the tutorial. I also added a handle to mine. I sorta have an idea of how I will finish this out, but my thinking cap is still on. Isn't this teapot a real cutie!!!

This is a gorgeous teapot! Love the colours you've used. How will you use the block?
ReplyDeleteThat tea pot is gorgeous!!! beaufiful fabric choices. I'm thinking of a trivet to go under a real tea pot... wouldn't that be so cute?
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your tea pots. I joined a swaps a few months back making cups and mugs. I should really be getting started on these since they are due some time in the next couple months. Your tea pots are very inspiring and so pretty to look at.

ReplyDeleteCUTE!!! I just went and make extra copies today so I could play. Soon, hopefully. I especially love the polka dots. :o)
ReplyDeleteReally, really cute! The fabrics really make it "pop" out. I think that I will have to make one for my friend who loves to drink tea.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
wonderful job! I love the cherry print -- just perfect for a kitchen teapot ;-0
ReplyDeleteAdorable...what's it going to be...a pot holder, a trivet or maybe the begining of a really cute wall hanging to hang over a display of your own china tea pots? Anyway you look at it it's a winner.
