ARE YOU THINKING VALENTINES...???

Yes....are you thinking valentines yet. I know some of you already have some projects going. I went through some of my stash to see what I had. Not much here, but enough for a project or two. My only problem ....I'm blank....no ideas....nothing comes to mind!!!

STAR PROGRESS: go over and take a 'look-see' at some of the stars the following ladies have been busily creating...

True Blue Nana

Rhonda at Ravelly 1
Lynne at Patchery Menagerie.....and here

Posh and Trendy
Joann from Pieceful Afternoon

Wendy at Swirls of Fabric

I have been awarded with some honors lately. Many, many thanks go out to Julia at Creative Ribbons...Shari at Mumsy Blossoms...Mikki at Irish Muses. Go see what these lovely ladies have been up to. A big thank you also to Dionne over at Sew Many Quilts for inviting me to participate in an interview on her blog......but, alot of you know me, I declined. I'm kinda shy about those things, but go check out her blog and see her projects.
Thank you to everyone for making this blogging so much fun. I really appreciate the honors and generosity, and especially for all the wonderful friends I have made!!!!!!

  1. Oh my but you've got a bunch of us making stars now :)
I love the way Swirls of Fabric made her stars with all kinds of fabric prints.. I've got to make some too since my basket of squares is a mixed breed with not too many that are the same.
Thank you again for sharing with us.

  3. I've been thinking valentiney things, too! I have two crates with Valentine fabrics, so I have plenty to a large quilt or several smaller projects.

I decided today that I am going to make a table runner out of Terry Atkinson's Out to Lunch book.

The rest of the valentine fabrics I may make a Yellow Brick Road, another one of Terry's patterns.

You know when I saw your stash of fabric someone sent you the first thing I noticed was the valentine fabric!

  4. What fun - all those hearts. I have only two fabrics that are even slightly valentine. But then I don't do much theme stuff. But yours are lovely.

And look at all those stars - you are a good teacher.

  10. Aren't there some fabulous valentine's fabrics out there? I love love love them. I made one of those bulls-eye quilts last year with hearts instead of circles with a lot of my heart fabrics.

I love your blog. I think I'm going to change my design back so it looks like this.
